Vision Statement :
To have a positive ongoing impact on the young people of the greater Alexandra district, which reflects the principles that the welfare, interests and development of the young person is of first and paramount consideration.
 
Aims:

• To provide professional support and guidance to Youth Worker and volunteers, so as to deliver a quality service;
• To provide quality programmes and activities to the youth of the Alexandra district, while encouraging and supporting youth participation. *
• To encourage networking and a relationship with other community agencies and youth providers within Central Otago.
• To ensure there is a positive working relationship with other community agencies and youth providers, so as to provide young people with the relevant information & support.

Services and programmes:

• Facilitation of the Alexandra Youth Forum, including supporting youth participants with their chosen projects.
• Joint management of the Alexandra Youth Venue.
• Organisation of the annual Alexandra Youth Expo in conjunction with other C.O. Youth Workers.
• Organisation of one-off holiday activities e.g. junior sports competitions
•  Individual youth/whanau support re education, employment, family, personal and health issues/concerns.
• Support/mentoring re youth representation to several Alexandra based committees e.g. Blossom Festival, BMX Club etc
