Kahu Youth Trust offers all youth of the Upper Clutha region opportunities for positive events, activities, programmes and support.
 
Mission Statement:
To provide organised, directed activites/events on a regular basis for youth aged 11-24 while incorporating a wide range of members of the local community.
To provide postive channels through which young people may achieve sucess and gain recognition.
To advocate and encourage a voice for local youth.
 
Core Beliefs:

• Youth deserve to be acknowledge for the critical role they play as valued members of the community.
• The contributions of young people need to be acknowledged and valued by adults and the community in general.
• Youth have inherent value and wish to stamp their mark on their community.
• Youth need to be provided with postive channels in which to do so.
• Youth need to be heard, and need a way in which to communiticate positively.
