Wakatipu District Youth Trust
Mission Statement:
Wakatipu District Youth Trust (WDYT) is a community trust which provides support to youth in the Wakatipu District aged 10 to 25 years.
WDYT youth workers (Summit Youth Workers) run after school and holiday groups, youth council and community events for the youth. The youth workers also work one on one with youth in the area of mentoring, bullying, self-esteem and relationship issues, low-level behavioral issues, general health support and guidance and independent living and career support.

Why we do it:
We have a passion for youth and strive to:
- Provide and support young people with opportunities to establish positive connections in their community.
- Help develop life skills, independence, self-identity, decision-making and coping strategies in young people.
